This still life was illustrated from direct observation. I gathered various objects that are significant to me—including Polaroid pictures, a flower, a CD player, LED lights, headphones, books, and more—and arranged them to form the composition. Using pastel pencils, I attempted to capture a sense of movement in the shadows.
